Based on the story of The journey of St Brendan, a story from the Middle ages. Saint Brendan found a huge head on the beach and he wanted to convince the head to become a Christian and be whole again. But the head refused, he rather stayed heathen and live on just as a head.
The sculpture was made for the sculpture trail Dijken van Wijven in Zeeland, The Netherlands.
