Dear Sculpture Network Friends,

 

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Monday night event, "Reinventing Oneself & Redefining Sculpture." It was such an inspiring evening, with lively discussions around two key themes—how artists are reinventing themselves in today’s world and how sculpture is evolving from a traditional art form into something entirely new. Both topics really hit home as we explored how the boundaries of art continue to shift and grow.

We were especially excited to see so much interaction from all of you! Your thoughtful questions and engaging conversation made the event even more special. We were lucky to have three amazing artists with us—Vitalii Datchenko, Alesya Murlina, and Nikita Seleznev—who shared their personal journeys of rebuilding their careers after moving to new countries with so much authenticity and emotions. Their resilience and creativity were truly inspiring, and they showed us how traditional sculpture can be reimagined in fresh and innovative ways.

The evening was hosted by Natalia Bergmann, a wonderful new face in our community. Natalia is an art advisor and collector with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Her background in international relations and art philosophy gave a great depth to the conversation, and we're so happy to welcome her to the Sculpture Network family.
