Dear Friends,
In a world where everything is changing rapidly—information, traditions, education, ethics, and our roles in society—how do we keep reinventing ourselves and redefining our paths, especially in the ever-evolving landscape of art?
We’re excited to invite you to an engaging online discussion, Reinventing Oneself & Redefining Sculpture, hosted by art advisor and contemporary art expert Natalia Bergmann, in collaboration with Sculpture Network.
Date: Monday, September 23rd
Time: 8:00 PM CET
Platform: Zoom (link provided below)
Natalia will be joined by three remarkable artists—Nikita Seleznev, Alesya Murlina, and Vitalii Datchenko—who have not only redefined their approach to sculpture — from classical to contemporary — but are also reinventing their careers amid new life circumstances. Graduates of the prestigious St. Petersburg Stieglitz Academy of Art and Design, these artists have been compelled to leave Russia due to the ongoing war, embarking on new journeys abroad. Now, Nikita is based in New York City, while Alesya and Vitalii continue their practice in Saint-Etienne, France.
This discussion is a unique opportunity for artists, curators, collectors, and art lovers to come together and explore the present and future of sculpture. We’ll delve into how art can help us adapt to today’s world, rebuild new foundations, and find new ways to reinvent ourselves.
Don’t miss out on this highly relevant and timely conversation!!
Register for free here to receive the Zoom link for our meeting on Monday, September 23rd at 8 PM CET.
We look forward to having you with us.
Best regards,
The Sculpture Network Team
