Porcelain

Powerfully rooted in the earth and with branches rising to the sky, the tree is for me a connector between heaven and earth. Literally, but also figuratively. In nature, everything is always only itself, pure, pure and good. That purity has a lot to do with heaven for me. In the trees, the white unglazed porcelain clay symbolizes this.

The earth in which the trees are rooted, is represented by the black glazed porcelain bottom.
