CAMPGONON

CampGonon – amalgamation of fundamental symmetries

Circle and semicircle
In most cultures the circle is associated with ideas of entirety and simultaneousness completion and the unity of contrasts. It ist he simple structure all solar celestial objects have in common. A semicircle opening to the ground, then in turn, represents the sun which faces the earth and yields’ warmth as well as energy. It ist he fire burning in symbiosis with water, yet, without combusting it.

Equilateral triangle peaking to the bottom

On the Pythagorian World Order the equilateral triangle personifies Athene, goddess of wisdom. The bottom-turned triangle pointing to earth is female (yin) and represents water. It yields way to the darkness of a cave imparting emotions of security. The upside-turned triangle facing to sky, in opposition, is male (yang) and represents fire. A denuement of this contrast is given by the interconnection of both triangles, which reflects the unification of Heaven and Earth – a vision of perpetual recurrence and peace.
