Dialogue at the European Patent Office Munich

Exclusive guided tour through the collection of the European Patent Office Munich

Bild1.png

The European Patent Office was founded in Munich in 1977. Between 2005 and 2007, the new headquarters were built in the former milk loading yard on the Hackerbrücke, which houses a very renowned collection of contemporary art that is normally not accessible. Despite its importance, it is hardly known to most of us.

We will be guided through the highlights of the art collection by the art historian and curator of the collection Jessica Krämer. At the same time, we will gain exciting insights into the architecture of the building.

In our guided tour, we will get to know the classics of the collection such as Tomás Saraceno, John Armleder, Keith Sonnier, Heimo Zobernig, Alicja Kwade, Francisco Da Mata and Markus Huemer, as well as previously unseen new acquisitions by Jelena Bulajic, Paul Leitner, Hildigunnur Birgisdottir, Katarina Poliacikova and Tue Greenfort.
